Integral hunting knife – Unyson Excelsior

Integral hunting knife – Unyson Excelsior by Louis Naude

Integral means that the knife is made of one piece of steel with handle inserts for grip. The Integral hunting knife – Unyson Excelsior, is just that.

Two handle slabs and a genuine one piece blade and bolster, either pinned with stainless steel or solid carbon fibre. Unlike the Unyson Integral hunting knife, the Unyson Excelsior does not have a guard. Some of our clients preferred the Unyson knife design but without the guard.

It has a tapered tang and the finger grooves in the sides of the bolster that allows for different finger grips.

The knife in the picture has a synthetic Canvas Micarta handle but it is available in other wood and animal handle materials as well .

The Unyson Excelsior  comes with a thick cowhide sheath.
