Large hunting and sports knife – The Cordata
This large hunting and sports knife was originally designed and made on request for a man who wanted a bigger knife than what was to offer in the trade. The knife had to be “as in the picture” plus a 15mm of grip. I added a lanyard hole and also added 4 or so millimetres to the blade.
So, now it might be “as in the photograph” but it’s a Louis Naude design.
This blade is from N690. The bolster is brass but is also available in copper.
The knife in the picture has a African Ebony wood handle but it is available in other wood and animal handle materials as well .
The Cordata comes with a thick cowhide sheath.
